INFORMATION ABOUT NEW DECREE ON FOREIGN WORKERS TO BE VALID FROM 1^ST NOVEMBER 2013

(Government’s Decree No. 102/2013/ND-CP)

- Employers have to report on demand for recruiting foreign workers to Chairman of People’s Committee of provinces and cities.

- Cases ineligible for the grant of work permits must be certified by competent agencies.

- Changes to regulations on timeframe for submission of dossiers of application for grant and renewal of work permits

- Cases where foreign workers are subject to revocation of work permits

- Deportation of foreign workers without a work permit (except for cases as stipulated by Vietnamese Law)
